What to Expect

You will be starting your evening tour at 6:00 pm. A tuk-tuk (three wheeler) will come to pick you up from your hotel in Colombo. After a nice drive through the city streets, through urban areas and into the countryside, you will reach your destination.

It will be a beautiful country home facing a pleasing river, lake or paddy field view. By the time you get there, it will be approximately 7:30 pm, and dusk would have fallen. You will find a nice warm glowing atmosphere awaiting you, with an open air fire and tiki torches. A tour team member will play host to you and get you settled. There will be welcome drinks awaiting while you have a nice chat with any friends who accompany you, or even with your host.

You will be able to watch the fire crackle as your dinner is made, and possibly even tell a few tall tales. Short after, your mouthwatering barbecue dinner will be served (If you have any specific meat requirements, make sure you inform about it while booking your tour). After a delightful meal under the stars, you will rest a little and leave for your hotel by approximately 9:00 pm.
